Bill Garrett

Bill Garrett is a musical triple threat: an established performer on the North American folk scene, he is also well known as a music producer and one of the founders of Borealis Records. Apart from being known as an artist and producer, he was also a staple on CBC Radio for 18 years, co-hosting Sylvia Tyson’s folk program Touch the Earth and later producing The Entertainers and Six Days on the Road with musician-host David Essig.

Since leaving the CBC in the mid-1990s, he has produced more than 75 folk, blues and jazz recordings. and has his own production company Willymac Productions.

Garrett performs regularly with partner Sue Lothrop and together thay have released the critcally acclaimed CD “Red Shoes”. Currently they are in pre-production for a new recording to be released in the fall of 2013.
